About Blaine's Bed and Breakfast Amsterdam

A little bit about us..... Blaine Hamrick has lived in Amsterdam for over six years. In 1989, he left North America and moved to Asia. There he began his career in the hospitality industry by joining an international hotel chain in Nagoya, Japan . Four years later he was transferred to the island of Guam. Blaine left Guam in June of 1996 for Amsterdam. The international experience which he gained over the 10 years of traveling, the southern hospitality that he had been brought up in, and his years in the hospitality industry make up the unique foundations that he used to start his own bed and breakfast. Blaine prefers to offer a smaller more personalized scale of accommodations for the international traveler.

In the spring of 2001, Peter Waltz joined Blaine in the B&B business. Peter is a native Dutchman from the southern part of the Netherlands. He has lived in Amsterdam for six years and has also worked in the hospitality industry. Peter joining Blaine has been a valuable addition to the business.

Blaine and Peter also own and operate Seasons Restaurant in Amsterdam.
